General Questions

What is Product Photo Manager PRO?

Product Photo Manager PRO is a WordPress plugin designed to organize, prepare, and bulk-process WooCommerce product images.

The plugin lets you review product images directly from the WordPress admin, change their dimensions and format, optimize file sizes, remove existing backgrounds, add new backgrounds, adjust product position and size, and add more natural-looking shadows.

Product Photo Manager PRO is designed for:

  • WooCommerce store owners
  • Online store administrators
  • Companies managing multiple online stores
  • WordPress developers
  • Web agencies
  • Users who regularly process large numbers of product images

The plugin can also be used by users without advanced image-editing skills.

No. All major image-processing operations can be performed directly from the WordPress admin.

There is no need to download images to your computer, open them individually in Photoshop or another graphics program, and then upload them back to the website.

No advanced experience is required. The interface is designed for WordPress users and lets you choose the desired settings through the available options.

However, the quality of the final result still depends on the quality of the original image and the settings you choose.

Yes. You can process individual images or select multiple images and apply the same settings to them as part of a bulk-processing operation.

With an active license, there is no 10-image-per-operation license limit. The actual number of images the server can process efficiently depends on available memory, processing power, and other server resources.

Yes. The Single Site, Business, and Agency licenses include the complete version of Product Photo Manager PRO.

The plans differ not in the features or tools available, but in the number of sites on which the plugin can be activated and the level of customer support included.

Image Processing

What image-processing operations are available?

Product Photo Manager PRO lets you:

  • Change image dimensions
  • Change image format
  • Compress and optimize files
  • Automatically rename images
  • Remove existing backgrounds
  • Add new backgrounds
  • Adjust the horizontal and vertical position of the product
  • Adjust the product size within the image
  • Add natural-looking shadows
  • Brighten and darken the product

The availability of specific image formats depends on the libraries installed on the server.

Yes. The same color or another supported background can be applied to multiple selected images as part of a bulk-processing operation.

This helps maintain a consistent look across category pages, search results, and individual product pages.

Yes. The product’s position within the final canvas can be adjusted horizontally and vertically, independently of the final image dimensions.

This allows products to be more precisely centered and visually consistent throughout the entire catalog.

Yes. The product can be enlarged or reduced within the defined dimensions of the final image.

This is useful when products occupy different proportions of the available space in the original images.

Yes. After removing the background, you can add more natural-looking shadows so the product doesn’t appear to be floating on the new background.

The shadow adds depth and makes the product look more realistic.

Yes. Images can be compressed and prepared in the appropriate dimensions and formats to reduce file size and improve loading speed.

The final result depends on the selected format, compression level, and the quality of the original image.

Yes. When a saved original version is available for a processed image, it can be restored using the plugin’s restore option.

Restoring the original is especially useful when you want to undo previous processing or apply different settings.

Technical Questions

Is Imagick required?

No. Product Photo Manager PRO supports both Imagick and GD.

The server only needs to have at least one suitable library with support for the image format you want to use.

Imagick may provide broader support for certain formats and operations, but it is not required for the plugin’s basic operation.

Yes. The plugin can use GD when the library is available and supports the format being processed.

Available features may depend on the specific GD configuration on the hosting server.

The plugin uses the available image-processing library according to its processing rules and the support required for the selected format.

The user does not need to manually install any additional graphics software on their computer.

Yes, when the server has WebP support available through the Imagick or GD library.

If the server library does not support WebP, conversion or processing of this format will not be available until the hosting provider enables the required functionality.

Support depends on the PHP image-processing libraries installed on the hosting server. This information can be checked through WordPress Site Health, the PHP configuration, or with the hosting provider.

The plugin should display only the formats that the available server library can process correctly.

Supported formats depend on the Imagick or GD library installed on the server.

JPG, PNG, and WebP are the most commonly used formats, but the availability of each format must be confirmed based on the current server configuration.

Product Photo Manager PRO recognizes shared WordPress attachments and isolates the processing so that changing an image for one product does not automatically change the image on other products using the same attachment.

This ensures that processing applied to one product does not unintentionally affect other products.

Not automatically. When the plugin detects that multiple products use the same image, processing is isolated to the selected product.

This prevents unwanted changes to other products linked to the same original attachment.

No. A scan that has already been started does not require you to remain on the same WordPress admin page.

You can navigate to another admin page, return later, or close the browser tab. The process will continue until you manually pause or stop it.

Yes. After returning to the WordPress admin, you can reopen the relevant plugin page to check the current status and progress of the process.

Yes. Processing speed depends on:

  • server processing power,
  • available PHP memory,
  • the number and size of images,
  • the operations selected,
  • the image-processing library being used,
  • server load,
  • hosting plan limitations.

Larger catalogs and more demanding operations may require better hosting or additional server resources.

It can run on a properly configured shared hosting environment, provided that the server meets the system requirements and has the necessary image-processing library.

For large numbers of products or demanding bulk-processing operations, the limited resources of shared hosting may affect processing speed.

Product Photo Manager PRO is designed to manage WooCommerce product images. WooCommerce must be installed and active for the plugin’s main features to work.

Licenses & Activations

Does the plugin work without an active license?

After the license expires, the site, WooCommerce products, and existing images continue to work. You can still access the plugin, review products and images, use filters, run scans, and restore available original images.

The plugin then switches to a limited mode in which you can process a maximum of 10 images per operation.

A valid license is required to remove this limitation, receive automatic updates and new versions, access customer support, and activate the plugin on new sites.

No. License expiration does not remove images from your website or affect how they are displayed in your WooCommerce store.

Existing images and previously saved processing results remain available.

After the license expires, you can process a maximum of 10 original images in a single operation.

If you select more than 10 images, the plugin should clearly notify you of the limit and offer the option to continue with the first 10 images or renew your license.

Yes. The limit applies to the number of original images processed in a single operation.

The limited mode keeps the plugin functional for smaller individual tasks, while unlimited bulk processing is available to users with an active license.

No. The limit applies to the original images selected for processing.

Additional image sizes automatically generated by WordPress do not count as separate original images.

Each standard license is valid for 12 months from the date of activation or purchase, in accordance with the terms defined at the time of purchase.

During this period, users have access to automatic updates, new versions, and the applicable level of customer support.

Yes. Each active license includes automatic WordPress updates for 12 months.

New versions, improvements, and fixes are available while the license is active.

Yes.

The Business license allows up to five activations, while the Agency license allows up to 25 activations on your own or client websites.

The Single Site license is intended for activation on one WordPress site.

Yes. The Business license can be used on up to five of your own or client WordPress websites.

The total number of simultaneously activated sites must not exceed the limit of the selected plan.

The license can be used on another domain once the previous activation has been properly deactivated and the number of active sites remains within the limit of the selected plan.

The exact deactivation procedure should be available through the plugin or the user account.

Before changing domains, it is recommended to deactivate the license on the old domain. After migration, the license can be activated on the new domain, provided the plan has an available activation.

If you have any issues deactivating the license, please contact support.

License Renewal

Does the license renew automatically?

No. Automatic renewal billing is not enabled.

The license will not be extended, and the customer will not be charged automatically without an explicit decision to renew.

You can renew the license while it is active or no later than 30 days after the expiration date.

During this period, the terms applicable to renewing the existing license apply.

If the license is not renewed within 30 days after expiration, the regular price of the applicable license plan will apply for reactivation.

In the meantime, the plugin remains in limited mode.

The limit is removed once the license has been successfully renewed and the active license status has been confirmed.

There is no need to reinstall the plugin. Once the license has been successfully verified, all features included in the active plan become available again.

Renewing the license gives you access again to:

  • Bulk processing without the 10-image license limit
  • Automatic updates
  • Access to new versions
  • Feature and security improvements
  • Customer support
  • The ability to add new activations within the limits of the selected plan

Updates & Security

How is the plugin updated?

When the license is active, available updates are shown through the standard WordPress plugin management system.

You can see the available version and start the update directly from the WordPress admin.

Product Photo Manager PRO uses a controlled system for distributing and verifying official releases.

Update packages use digital signatures so the plugin can verify their authenticity and integrity before installation.

A digital signature allows verification that the package comes from the official distribution system and has not been modified after publication.

Product Photo Manager PRO uses the Ed25519 digital signature system for official releases.

No. Automatic updates and access to new versions are available only to users with an active license.

The installed version remains on the website and switches to limited mode.

Customer Support

Is customer support included?

Yes. Every active license includes customer support for the duration of the license.

The Single Site plan includes standard support, while Business and Agency plans include priority support.

Requests from users with Business and Agency licenses receive higher priority in the support queue than standard requests.

Priority support does not include hosting interventions, changes to other plugins, development of custom features, or a guaranteed response time, unless such terms are specifically stated.

For faster analysis, we recommend providing:

  • the website domain,
  • your license number or license ID,
  • the Product Photo Manager PRO version,
  • the WordPress version,
  • the WooCommerce version,
  • the PHP version,
  • whether the server uses Imagick or GD,
  • a precise description of the issue,
  • the steps that lead to the issue,
  • a screenshot or the exact error message.

Do not send your WordPress password through a standard contact form or an unsecured email message.

Support can help identify issues related to PHP configuration, Imagick, GD, WebP, or server resource limits.

Direct changes to the hosting configuration depend on the hosting provider and are generally not included in standard plugin support.

Customer support included with the plan is available while the license is active.

Renewing the license restores access to support according to the selected plan.
